Our Story


Ever since I was a little girl, I loved to cook and entertain. As I grew up, cooking remained a hobby for me, but I never thought it would become my career. 

Fast forward to 2011, Mike and I met at a birthday party in Costa Mesa. We quickly began dating and food was what brought us together. I would cook to impress him and it worked! Mike was the one who made me see that cooking could be more than a hobby.

Over the next few years, I went to culinary school, worked in restaurants and took odd jobs catering. I worked as a private chef for several Orange County families, and as the catering chef for a small local winery in Laguna Beach. These experiences built the foundation for Taylor Made Cuisine. 

I started my company in 2012, so that I could do what I love every day: cook for people on their happiest and most important days. Mike, now my husband, has been by my side the entire time; creating the basis for our bar service and helping to tame this wild creative mind.

Today, we run our company together and look forward to working with you on your next event.
