Meal Prep Frequently Asked Questions:
When do you deliver?
We deliver once a week on Sunday nights, between the hours of 5:00 - 9:30 pm. In addition, our delivery dates change from time to time due to holidays, and if so, we will let you know weeks in advance via email. You can also check our meal prep delivery schedule for all upcoming meal delivery dates. Also, if you live in San Diego county, then your delivery date will be determined by driver availability.
Where do you deliver to?
We deliver to all of Orange County and most parts of Los Angeles County for only $15! We also special deliver to San Diego County as well, but the pricing is different. Please email us for info on pricing. Any orders placed outside of our delivery zone without our approval, will be cancelled and refunded, minus any applicable credit card processing fees.
How much is delivery?
If you live within 15 miles of Newport Beach, delivery is free with orders of $250 or more - use code 15MILES at checkout (only eligible on Orange County orders). Otherwise, we charge $15 for delivery.
When will my food arrive?
Your food will arrive between 5:00 - 9:30 pm.
How do you deliver your meals?
Your order is delivered in a Taylor Made Cuisine branded insulated bag, so your food stays nice and cold.
What should I do with my bags?
After you're done using them for the week, please place your bags on your doorstep, and we will pick them up when we drop off your food for the week.
Do you have a minimum order amount?
Yes we do. Our minimum order amount is $99.
When is the cut-off time for placing my order?
Yes, our cut-off time is Friday night at 11:59 PM. If you forgot to place your order by that time, please email us to see if we can accomodate you!
How do I order?
I see different menus, as well as meal plans and meal plan subscriptions. Can you explain the difference?
Sure! We let you order two ways:
- By purchasing food a la Carte from our different menus
- By purchasing a custom meal plan or a custom meal plan subscription
What is a la carte ordering?
Just like in a restaurant, all of our menu items can be ordered as separate items, rather than part of a set meal. When you order an item a la carte, you'll receive that item and nothing else.
A la carte is a convenient way to order when you want to create your own meals or know what you like!
You do custom meal plans?

After we receive your info, Chef Taylor puts your information into a folder with your name on it, and she writes a menu specifically for you each week!
Do you work with any dietary restrictions?
We cater to every dietary restriction, including, but not limited to: Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free, Vegan, Vegetarian, and Pescatarian.
In addition, we offer popular meal programs such as: Candida, Keto, Low FODMAP, Paleo, and SIBO. Also, we can work together with your nutritionist to ensure that you're getting the best results possible!
What menu items will come in my custom meal plan?
Good question! If you're wondering, feel free to browse our healthy meals store to check out our menu items for the week. All of the menu items you see could end up on your menu, plus some of Taylor's own special creations. And, you might even get a new menu item that isn't on our menu yet!
I ordered a meal plan, does it come with a menu?
Yes! Your meal plan comes with a menu which will be delivered with your food in your bag.
Why is there highlighter marks on my menu?
Simple answer - to make sure all of your food makes it into your bag. Packaging your custom menu takes time and attention to detail, so we make sure to highlight your menu to make sure no mistakes are made!
My highlighted menu is hard to read, can you email me an original copy?
Yes! Chef Taylor saves your menu every week, so if the highlighted menu is too confusing or hard to read for you, email us and we will send you a copy of your menu for you to print at home.
How is the food packaged?
We use BPA Free, resuable, plastic containers. They are also dishwasher and microwave safe, in additon to being recyclable.
Why is my food in separate containers?
To preserve freshness, each menu item is packaged in separate containers, and all of our proteins are vacuum sealed.
I just got my healthy food delivery, what do I do?
First of all, breathe! You're a new customer and this is your first time using our service! So, don't panic! Second, find your menu and unload your bag. Make sure you have all of the items on your menu, and organize them by meal in your fridge. That way, you know what everything is and what items go with what! Then, you're all set!
Do I put my food in the refrigerator or in the fridge?
Place all of your food in the refrigerator except for your fish fillets. Fish fillets should be stored in the freezer until you're ready to eat them. When ready, take your fish fillet out of your freezer and thaw outside of the package.
Is all the food cooked?
All of the food is cooked to 80% of completion, and you will need finish it off in a pan or microwave. The only item that doesn't come precooked is our fish.
Why don't you cook the fish?
Fish doesn't reheat well, but all of the fish is preseasoned and portioned. Just cook in a hot, non-stick pan, on medium/high heat for 2-3 minutes per side, or until the fish reaches your desired degree of doneness.
How do I reheat my food?
You can reheat your food in the microwave, or in a pan: whichever method suits you. Be sure to remove your proteins from the vacuum seal bags, as they are NOT microwave safe.
Do you have a menu?
Yes! Our current menu can always be found in our store. Feel free to shop around and place your meal prep order!
I'm used to ordering a certain number of meals per week. Do you do that?
Yes! You can order food off of our a la carte menu, or you can order a meal plan for the week. Just let us know how many meals you'd like to order, and Chef Taylor will put together a menu for you. If you have questions, then email us!
How much do your meals cost?
We strive to keep our costs as reasonable as possible, while also providing you only the freshest ingredients. As such, our meal plans start out at $20 per meal, and are competitively discounted the more you buy. In addition, we offer flexible a la carte ordering to fit your budgets and needs too!
Are you a subscription service?
No! We don't lock you in to a subscription. Order what you want, when you want! However, we do offer a meal plan subscription service if ordering each week is too time consuming for you!
Do you have a meal plan subscription?
Yes! Ordering your meal plan subscription is super simple! Just follow these steps:
- Visit our online store, and click on meal plan subscriptions.
- Choose your meal plan subscription.
- Select how many days of food you want.
- Select how many meals a day you want.
- Click SUBSCRIBE.
- Fill out the simple form that pops up and tell us if you have any food allergies, dietary restrictions, and what your favorite and least favorite foods are.
- Complete your Check Out.
How do I manage my plan subscription?
To manage your meal plan subscription, just follow these steps:
- Sign-in to your customer account.
- Click My Account.
- Then, click Subscriptions.
- Then, click on your subscription to view its details and cancel if necessary.
Do you provide macros for your meals?
Currently, we don't provide macros for our meals, but all your food comes pre-portioned.
My food comes pre-portoned, what does that mean?
Yes! All your food comes pre-portioned in it's own indivudal container, so you're never overeating! Proteins are weighed before packaging, and all your vegetables and starches will come in either 8 or 16 ounce containers every time you order.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, Apple Pay, and cash upon delivery.
Can I cancel my order?
Yes, as long as you cancel your order by 9:00pm, the Thursday before delivery. However, your order will be cancelled and refunded, minus any applicable credit card processing fees.
I got an avocado in my meal plan, but it's not ripe. What should I do?
Avocados will be in your meal plan from time to time, and we can't always ensure they're ripe because they spoil quickly. So, if you receive an avocado and it's not ready to go, put it in a paper bag for a day or two until it ripens up!
I bought a deal on Yelp!, how do I redeem it?
If you purchased a deal on Yelp!, you will receive an email from them with a claim code. Please email us your claim code with your name and phone number, and we will send you a promo code to use in our store!
